Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Ashaway, RI is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B on a 9/80 schedule to support development and production. You will troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic, fiber optic and mechanical components under supervision, following drawings and test procedures.

Responsibilities include testing assemblies with ohmmeters and oscilloscopes, performing rework, and ensuring quality per procedures while collaborating with supervisors and teams to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates with 0–2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures electrical and optical assemblies, components and harnesses per instructions.
• Conducts functional and continuity tests with test equipment.
• Proposes changes to procedures to improve performance of components.
• Sets up test apparatus and conducts environmental and life tests per procedures.
• Adheres to quality system procedures and safety practices.
• Communicates with supervisor to address defects and resolve issues.
• Collaborates with coworkers and suppliers to achieve optimal solutions.
