Job summary

Enpro Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own the existing and new manufacturing and test processes for sensor and analyzer products within the AMI division.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a track record of taking products from design into volume manufacturing. You will work across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost effectiveness while advancing process improvements and new test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in highly engineered products.
• Proven experience transferring products from engineering to volume production.
• Experience leading manufacturing process improvements and root cause investigations.
• Experience with automated test equipment (ATE), test fixtures, and data acquisition systems.
• Knowledge of GD&T, ISO 9001, and engineering change processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, assembly procedures, and test methods.
• Support day-to-day production operations by resolving manufacturing issues affecting quality, throughput, safety, or delivery.
• Lead process improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Design and maintain manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
• Lead the transition of new products from Engineering into production and support supplier qualification.
