Job summary

AMETEK, Exton PA, seeks a Process Engineer to join the Process Engineering team. You will drive manufacturing process development for NPD, design for manufacturability, validation protocols, and workflow improvements to meet design requirements and tolerances.

You will develop and execute test protocols for software/firmware changes, investigate nonconforming material, analyze quality data, and lead Lean/Six Sigma cost-reduction efforts while evaluating AI tools to boost productivity and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required or equivalent.
Recent graduates welcome to apply.
Design/Repair of assembly and automated test fixtures.
Knowledge of 5-S, root cause/corrective actions, Gauge R&R, and process capability studies.
Knowledge of SPC and analytical tools.
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

Support product development initiatives into manufacturing processes through NPD process and DFM.
Develop and execute test protocols to validate software/firmware changes.
Perform failure investigation on nonconforming material and finished products.
Utilize manufacturing tests and diagnostics to improve yield, quality, and performance.
Conduct gauge R&R and process capability studies on new or existing processes.
Review engineering documents and coordinate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing.
Coordinate introduction of product changes ensuring timely procedures and tooling.
