Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in California is seeking a Test Engineer for manufacturing to join our defense tech team. You will develop test methodologies, automate tests, maintain fixtures, and analyze data to improve yield.

Travel to Gardena, CA site up to 20% is required and you will train staff in test equipment usage. The role requires a BSEE (or equivalent) with 4+ years of experience, expertise in LabVIEW, and hands-on design of electrical circuits for test fixtures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 4+ years in test engineering; DoD contractor experience preferred.
• LabVIEW or equivalent test software experience for automated test equipment.
• Design of electrical circuits (analog, digital, FPGA) for test fixtures.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems and interpret drawings and wiring lists.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing test methodologies for DDG 51 products.
• Create, validate, and maintain automated test programs and fixtures.
• Maintain and upgrade test equipment and legacy systems.
• Analyze test data to reduce failures and test escapes.
• Lead test activities and train manufacturing staff.
• Travel to Gardena, CA site up to 20%.
