Job summary

With a BS in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of test engineering experience, you will analyze test data with the Failure Review Board, train staff, and lead test activities across sites, including 20% travel to Gardena, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of test engineering experience; or graduate degree with 2+ years in the field; or 8+ years without a degree.
• 2+ years of LabVIEW or equivalent test software for Automated Test Equipment.
• 4+ years of experience designing electrical/electronic circuits (analog, digital, FPGA) for test fixtures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address defects and inconsistencies.
• Knowledge of drawings, wiring lists, diagrams, schematics and repair procedures.
• Experience with legacy/test equipment obsolescence assessment and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing test methodologies for DDG 51 products.
• Develop, validate, and maintain automated test programs, fixtures, and procedures.
• Support selection, maintenance, modernization, and replacement of test equipment.
• Analyze test data and work with Failure Review Board to reduce failures.
• Prepare test reports, procedures, and work instructions.
• Train manufacturing personnel in the proper use of test equipment and fixtures.
• Lead test activities and teams; travel to Gardena, CA site (20%).
