Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Sr Test Equipment Engineer to design, develop, and validate automated test systems and LabVIEW-based software for gas, liquid, and electro-mechanical subsystems. You will prototype, qualify, and document test software, closing with clear management reports.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/CS and LabVIEW Certification, with 7+ years software development and 5+ years in the semiconductor environment. On-site at Hayward, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field.
• LabVIEW Certification, CLD or higher.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in the manufacturing and semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate automated test systems and control software.
• Create LabVIEW-based test programs, build prototypes, and execute qualification testing.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to commission new test solutions and deliver documentation, procedures, and reports.
• Prepare reports of results and conclusions for management.
• Interface with design and manufacturing engineering to coordinate validation and commissioning of new test software.
