Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Anaheim, CA seeks a Sr. Specialist, Test Engineer for manufacturing testing of complex electronic systems. You will design for test, build and validate automated test programs, and lead test activities to improve yield and reliability.

Preferences include LabVIEW programming, digital/FPGA circuit design, and experience with legacy test equipment. Travel to Gardena, CA sites is expected about 20% and occasional extended hours are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience as a Test Engineer (BSEE preferred). Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience as a Test Engineer.
3+ years of experience creating LabVIEW or equivalent test software for Automated Test Equipment.
6+ years of experience with design of electrical and electronic circuits (analog, digital and FPGA) for application in Test Fixture design.
Knowledge of drawings, parts lists, engineering orders, wiring lists, diagrams, schematics and repair procedures are required.

Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing test methodologies for new and legacy products.
Develop, validate, and maintain automated test programs, fixtures, and procedures.
Support the selection, maintenance, modernization, and replacement of test equipment, including legacy systems required to support older product lines.
T3oubleshoot and maintain test systems, fixtures, and related equipment to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable operation.
Lead test activities and teams as needed to accomsh large qualification tasks.
