Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Software and Test Engineer to ensure product quality and reliability through rigorous testing. You will travel (~10%) to contract manufacturing sites and oversee testing at multiple locations while reporting to the Director of Advance Manufacturing Engineering.

The role is hybrid, based at our headquarters in Raleigh. You will develop and execute test plans, create automated scripts/tools, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as testing engineer at manufacturing sites.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, C#, Phyton, and Visual Basic.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with firmware download and flashing microprocessors.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with database & server management.
• Willingness to travel to contract manufacturing sites (~10%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test programs and test cases to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test programs and tools using SQL Server, C#, Phyton, and Visual Basic.
• Oversee testing activities at manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Deploy and validate test equipment at the different manufacturing sites in USA, Mexico
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product and yield improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
