Job summary

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and electromechanical products, seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer in Wilmington, MA. You will own the end-to-end test strategy, influence design-for-test, and collaborate across engineering, validation and quality to deliver scalable test systems.

The role requires a BS in a technical field and 10+ years of experience designing inline and end-of-line tests using LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python automation, with emphasis on data pipelines for real-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of manufacturing test engineering experience for electromechanical or robotic products.
• Hands-on experience deploying inline and end-of-line test systems, including test sequence creation and data collection.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or Python-based automation and related DAQ hardware.
• Ability to design test data pipelines for dashboards and real-time production visibility.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end manufacturing test strategy across product builds from prototype to high-volume production.
• Influence product architecture, interface design, and tolerance strategies to enhance testability.
• Create clarity from ambiguity by establishing test frameworks, standards, and decision criteria for engineering teams.
• Partner with engineering, validation, and quality teams to align validation requirements with production test capabilities.
• Architect and deploy manufacturing test systems and stations optimized for throughput and efficiency.
