Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp. in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a Manufacturing Technician for a union environment. You will contribute to assembly, lamination, and winding of motors, generators and drives, while following safety standards and working with a production team.

The role offers a full-time schedule with weekend overtime and a comprehensive benefits package. Training and advancement are documented via a skills matrix, with opportunities to increase salary

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Interest in electrical rotating equipment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble motors, generators and drives as part of a team.
• Perform winding and related subassembly tasks and testing.
• Follow safety standards and contribute to continuous production.
• Work on 1st shift in a union environment with regular overtime.
