Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp., in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is hiring for an Armature Winder on the 1st shift. The role involves setup, layout, winding, testing, and troubleshooting of AC/DC rotating equipment within a union, full-time environment.

The team focuses on winding stators/rotors, assembling sensing devices, testing, and adhering to documented procedures. Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma, basic math skills, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain overhead crane, jib crane and forklift certifications.
• Strong math skills for calculating wire cross sections.

Responsibilities

• Winds stators and rotors to engineering specifications per procedures.
• Assembles temperature sensing devices and connects components per requirements.
• Performs layout and wiring operations per armature winding specifications.
• Reads blueprints, work instructions, and bills of materials; ensures quality checks.
• Maintains safety and ISO 9001 quality standards in daily tasks.
