Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp., seeks an Armature Winder for 1st shift in Minneapolis. You will perform setup, winding, testing, and assembly of stators and rotors, following engineering instructions and process standards.

The role requires a High School degree and basic math skills; experience in manufacturing and crane/forklift operation is a plus. Union, medical benefits, 401K, and overtime opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School degree required; 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Crane and forklift operation certifications preferred.
• Basic math skills for wire sizing and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Winds stators and rotors to engineering specs
• Perform layout from winding specs and instructions
• Assemble temperature sensing devices
• Measure, order, configure and insert slot insulation
• Brazes or solders connections as required
• Test electrical winding during production and assist final inspection
• Follow ISO 9001 and OSHA/EPA requirements
