Job summary

Silfex in Springfield, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 to operate band saws, Blanchard and core drills, and perform ERP data entry in DP Cell operations. You will follow procedures, inspect parts for defects, and support lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of manufacturing experience (crystal processing preferred), basic measurement skills with tape measure and calipers, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably in crystal processing.
• Ability to read a tape measure and calipers; basic math and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws, Blanchard, core drill and enter ERP data.
• Assist with crystal processing and data entry for testing.
• Perform cleaning, maintenance and housekeeping in DP Cell.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure safety and quality.
• Support lean manufacturing concepts and 5S initiatives.
