Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support product manufacturing, assembly, and testing operations in a fast-paced production environment.
This temporary, fully onsite role involves assembling products, performing quality inspections, troubleshooting equipment and processes, supporting prototype builds, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to ensure on-time production.
Perform assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks. - In some of the build tests it was evident some of the candidates we not familiar with or proficient using typical hand tools such as torque wrenches, etc.* Conduct quality checks on the functionality of parts and components. - We've had recent candidates state they always delegate or escape quality issues. This is more indicative of an Operator vs a Technician.* Collaborating with other departments such as Manufacturing Engineering or Quality to complete builds on time. - We need candidates who have experience and are comfortable working across other departments as needed, who have collaborated with engineers and who can effectively communicate any issues they see.* Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products. - This is another differentiator between Operators and Technicians - we'd really like to see experience in this area.* Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. - We need people that have had experience building; not just running an existing machine.* Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures.* Maintain inventory of job materials.* Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
