Job summary

Local Organization in Tampa is seeking two Assemblers to join a production team. The roles involve using hand tools and production equipment to manufacture medical devices and ancillary products, following detailed drawings and diagrams.

Applicants should read, write, and speak English, have strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a temp-to-hire path.

Qualifications

• Use hand tools and operate production equipment to manufacture medical devices and ancillary products.
• Read and follow drawings, guidelines and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow directions in English.
• Stand and/or sit for long periods (4 hours) and perform repetitious work.
• Lift components, tools, equipment and machinery up to 50 pounds.

Job description

We are partnering with a local organization that is looking to add two Assemblers to their production team!

Manufacturing Technician Temp-to-Hire (Tampa FL 33607)

Pay: $16.50/HR - $17.50/HR

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Essential Functions

• Use hand tools and operate production equipment to manufacture medical devices and ancillary products.
• Follow drawings, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Competencies

• Manufacturing Technicians must be able to distinguish different colors and have vision acuity to perform the essential functions Manufacturing Technicians must able to read, write, speak, communicate, and follow directions in English.
• Manufacturing Technicians should have excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to grasp, manipulate, or assemble parts and components.
• Manufacturing Technicians must know basic math, be able to use computers, and perform measurements in both English and Metric units.
• Modern production systems require assemblers and fabricators to be able to use computers, and robots on the factory floor.
• Manufacturing Technicians must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods (4 hours) and perform repetitious work.
• Manufacturing Technicians must be strong enough to lift components tools, equipment and machinery, preferably up to 50 pounds.
• Manufacturing Technicians must be able to understand work instructions, blueprints, and schematics for a wide range of components, assemblies, tools, and equipment.
