Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to join our client’s team on-site in Santa Clara, CA. You will support build and test activities, report progress to line leads, and help identify issues with corrective recommendations.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 2 years in manufacturing or electromechanical work, can work 2pm–10:30pm, and are familiar with GDP and regulated environments, with prior medical device experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of manufacturing, assembling, or testing electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to work onsite 2pm–10:30pm five days a week.
• Familiarity with GDP and regulated environments.
• Medical device industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide updates on build/work status to line leads and engineers.
• Identify problems and offer recommendations for corrective actions.
• Assist in modifying procedures to improve equipment operation or processes.
• Record assignments and prepare documentation on materials, parts used, concepts, designs and drawings.

This person is primarily responsible for providing updates to the line lead/ engineers of build/work status. In addition, identifies problems with recommendations for improvement or correction. They will assist in modifying procedures to improve equipment operation or processes. They record assignments and prepare documentation concerning materials, parts used, concepts, designs, drawings, and processes.

Skills and Requirements

• 6mo-2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembling, or testing complex electromechanical equipment
• Ability to work 2pm -10:30pm shifts onsite 5x/week
• Basic proficiency with assembly tools like Loctite, Torque Wrenches, multimeter, isolation, grounding, oscilloscope
• Familiarity of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and regulated environments
• Medical Device industry experience
