LG Electronics in Tennessee is hiring a manufacturing maintenance technician for the mid shift (1:30pm–11:30pm). The role starts at $19.00/hour with potential increases based on experience.

Responsibilities include machine start-up/shut-down, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, and quality checks using precision tools. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, basic math skills, and strong communication abilities.

Mid Shift: 1:30pm-11:30pm

This position starts at $19.00/hour and may increase based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and report to leadership
• Start up machinery & shut down machinery
• Mechanical experience troubleshooting various issues
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Assemble, install, repair wiring, or electrical components that may have basic malfunctions
• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery
• Clean and lubricate machinery
• Maintain good condition of machinery and operating of machinery
• Measurement & Quality Control: skill in using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished products and track data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Over 2 years of experience preferred
• Basic mathematics skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems that may be the root cause of production delays or machine errors.
• Safety and Regulatory knowledge: understanding of plant safety rules, Lean manufacturing concepts and Good Manufacturing Practices or ISO standards.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours/day with flexibility on Saturdays/overtime
