Job summary

LG Electronics North America in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the mid shift (1:30pm–11:30pm). The position starts at $19.00/hour and may increase based on experience.

You will inspect, operate, and test machinery, start up and shut down equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform maintenance, and conduct precision measurements with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Over 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mathematics skills required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems that may cause production delays or machine errors.
• Knowledge of plant safety, Lean manufacturing concepts, and GMP/ISO standards.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Technician

Mid Shift: 1:30pm-11:30pm

This position starts at $19.00/hour and may increase based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and report to leadership


• Start up machinery & shut down machinery


• Mechanical experience troubleshooting various issues


• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Assemble, install, repair wiring, or electrical components that may have basic malfunctions


• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery


• Clean and lubricate machinery


• Maintain good condition of machinery and operating of machinery


• Measurement & Quality Control: skill in using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished products and track data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma


• Over 2 years of experience preferred


• Basic mathematics skills


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems that may be the root cause of production delays or machine errors.


• Safety and Regulatory knowledge: understanding of plant safety rules, Lean manufacturing concepts and Good Manufacturing Practices or ISO standards.


• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours/day with flexibility on Saturdays/overtime
