LG Electronics, Inc. is hiring for a 2nd shift position in its manufacturing operations. The role requires basic shop math, the ability to use precise measuring equipment, and operation of standard tool room equipment. English literacy and good communication are essential, with overtime availability.

Preferred candidates will be able to troubleshoot die/press problems, perform PM activities on stamping dies, and operate an overhead crane and forklift. A High School Diploma is preferred.

Pay $20 per hour

Basic Qualifications / Requirements:

• Basic shop math
• Ability to use precise measuring equipment
• Ability to operate standard tool room equipment
• Must be able to work without supervision
• Individual must be self-motivated
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to communicate well with others
• Ability to work overtime
• Individual must observe all safety regulations to ensure own and others’ safety
• Troubleshoot die / press related problems in a production environment
• Perform PM activities on stamping dies progressive and blanking.
• Press operations and ability to learn new processes
• Experienced and capable of operating an overhead crane
• Experience and capable of operating Forklift

Preferred Experience:

• Operation of overhead crane
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints
• Operation of manual machine tools (lathe, milling machine, grinders, radial arm drill press)
• Troubleshooting -- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems and repair.
• Problem Solving -- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects from parts to improve die quality.
• Maintain a clean & safe work area
• High School Diploma
