Job summary

LG Electronics USA is hiring a Manufacturing Technician in Tennessee. The role operates on a mid shift from 1:30pm to 11:30pm and starts at $19.00 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery, perform quality checks, and work with precision tools to ensure product quality and efficient production processes.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems that may cause production delays or machine errors.
• Safety and regulatory knowledge: plant safety rules, Lean manufacturing concepts and GMP/ISO standards.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours/day with flexibility on Saturdays/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and report to leadership.
• Start up machinery and shut down machinery.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical components of machinery.
• Assemble, install, repair wiring and electrical components as needed.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery parts.
• Ensure measurement and quality control using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Manufacturing Technician

Mid Shift: 1:30pm-11:30pm

This position starts at $19.00/hour and may increase based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and report to leadership
• Start up machinery & shut down machinery
• Mechanical experience troubleshooting various issues
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Assemble, install, repair wiring, or electrical components that may have basic malfunctions
• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery
• Clean and lubricate machinery
• Maintain good condition of machinery and operating of machinery
• Measurement & Quality Control: skill in using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished products and track data

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Over 2 years of experience preferred
• Basic mathematics skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems that may be the root cause of production delays or machine errors.
• Safety and Regulatory knowledge: understanding of plant safety rules, Lean manufacturing concepts and Good Manufacturing Practices or ISO standards.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours/day with flexibility on Saturdays/overtime
