Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 month manufacturing/warehousing experience or equivalent.
• CRC Bronze or above preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicates safety discrepancies or issues to the Supervisor or Area Manager.
• Assist with product changeover and set up production equipment and verifies the functionality of safety equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoots problems with equipment, devices, or products.
• Monitors and adjusts production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
• Inspects production for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
• Monitors SPC charts and uses precision measuring instruments to perform quality checks.
• Provides production, progress, or changeover reports to shift supervisors.
• Writes work orders and updates journal at end of shift.
