Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Lead in Richardson, TX to drive operational execution and technical readiness for next-generation hardware programs. The MTL serves as the primary technical interface among hardware design, software/firmware, and factory NPI teams, ensuring timely prototyping and rigorous documentation control throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in hardware NPI engineering, manufacturing technical leadership, or systems program management.
Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing operations (SMT, box build, system assembly, and test methodologies).
Experience with change control systems (PLM/CCB) and detailed technical documentation such as Scopes of Work (SOW).

Responsibilities

Cross-functional technical bridging between hardware design, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure execution readiness.
Own the build prototyping and plan execution for Proto/EVT/DVT/PVT stages with clear SOWs and risk controls.
Apply risk management, CTQ monitoring, and change control governance to prevent yield shortfalls and escalation blockers.
