Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring for an on-site role providing manufacturing and electrical technical support across multiple projects and tasks. You will troubleshoot issues in electrical test stations, perform problem solving, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or associate's degree in STEM.
• Significant assembly and/or internal supply process knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in communications with others through a specific opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement by resolving safety, quality, process, and equipment/tooling issues.
• Provide engineering support for production and work with the Andon escalation.
• Assist with product changes, transfers, and new product development and integration.
• Utilize PFMEA's and Yamazumi's to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Assist with development and maintenance of standard of work.
• Train others using appropriate techniques.
• Support 5S activities.
• Help design fixtures, work cell layout, and tool boards.
• Provide support for cross functional activities.
• Participate in product standardization and VAVE analysis activities.
