Job summary
Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support on-site electrical installation, repair and preventive maintenance within the plant. The role requires reading electrical and mechanical drawings and performing troubleshooting on energized equipment.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience and certification/technical schooling. The position is designated as Safety Sensitive and offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance and retirement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, electrical & mechanical drawings and prints.
- Certified or technically trained in maintenance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Installs electrical conduit systems, feeders, branch circuits, panel boards, transformers, disconnects, VFDs.
- Maintains engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors and production machines; troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and prints.
- Work with test instruments across voltages 24V-13.2kV.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs; lock-out/tagout as needed.
