Job summary

Klein Tools invites applications for a Manufacturing Team Member II in Mansfield, TX. The role focuses on basic set-ups, operating and monitoring CNC milling/grinding, and other semi-automated equipment, with quality issues flagged to technical staff.

You will read work orders and blueprints, perform routine set-ups and changeovers, and document production metrics while following 6S and lean practices. Overtime may be required and a HS diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience required; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with CNC, milling, grinding, or press operation is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Run production jobs on CNC milling/grinding, induction, assembly or related equipment per instructions.
• Inspect product quality during production using calipers, micrometers, gauges and logs.
• Read work orders/blueprints to verify specs and inventory accuracy.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate defects to staff.
• Set up, changeovers, and adjust equipment to meet specs.
• Record counts, scrap, and labor hours; maintain logs and 6S/lean practices.
• Cross-train by rotating to different machines and areas; perform other duties as assigned.
