Job summary

Klein Tools in Mansfield, TX is hiring a Manufacturing Team Member III for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM). You will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC milling/grinding/lathe, injection molding, and other semi-automated equipment to produce quality parts on schedule.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing quality inspections with calipers and micrometers, and participating in lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience; Klein employees may be considered with one year tenure.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge in operating CNC, milling, grinding, or injection molding machines preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
• Ability to perform basic math and computer skills and perform visual quality inspections.
• Ability to learn, problem-solve, and follow work instructions and documents.
• Ability to communicate and work as a team member.
• Ability to obtain a Klein crane certification may be required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed by the company is required.

Responsibilities

• Run production jobs on multi-axis CNC milling/grinding/lathe, injection molding, induction, and other equipment per instructions.
• Inspect product quality during production using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and laser measurements; log results.
• Read work orders and blueprints to verify specs and BOM accuracy.
• Perform offsets and adjust feed/speed/axes to meet part specs.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and replace or sharpen tooling as needed.
• Set up machines with fixtures, tooling, dies, and programming as required.
• Maintain machines through routine cleaning and oil/coolant checks.
• Record production counts, scrap, and labor hours in logs.
• Follow 6S standards and participate in lean manufacturing activities.
• Cross-train by rotating to different machines and areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
