Job summary

Klein Tools in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Team Member II to operate and set up CNC milling, grinding, and other semi-automated equipment, ensuring parts meet specifications and quality standards. You may perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues while maintaining productivity.

This role requires reading work orders and blueprints, measuring with micrometers and calipers, and documenting findings.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience required or preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC, milling, grinding and press operation preferred.
• Read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Basic math and computer skills; perform visual quality inspections.
• Learn, problem-solve and make decisions per instructions.
• Communicate and work well as part of a team.
• Overtime availability as required by the company.

Responsibilities

• Run production jobs on CNC milling/grinding, induction, assembly or other equipment to produce quality parts.
• Inspect product quality during production using measuring tools and log findings.
• Read work orders/blueprints; verify materials and bill of materials.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report defects to staff.
• Perform routine set-ups, changeovers and adjustments to meet specs.
• Record production counts, scrap and labor hours accurately.
• Support 6S/lean initiatives and rotate across machines as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
