Job summary

Ultipro in Idaho is seeking an experienced manufacturing supervisor to assist plant supervisors in planning, directing and coordinating work activities and resources to meet cost, safety, quality and production targets. The role requires strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, equipment maintenance and safety practices, with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience and leadership preferred.

Idaho location, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of production and processing to maximize manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Mathematics knowledge including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus and statistics.
• Knowledge of education and training design, instruction and measurement of training effects.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, their design, use, repair and maintenance.
• Education: High School Diploma or Associates Degree preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment with management responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including replacement of machines.
• Assist in training, evaluating, and managing staff assigned to shifts.
• Maintain knowledge of quality control specifications per SPWF Product Specifications and SOPs.
• Prepare and maintain production work orders and reports as needed.
• Review operations and confer with maintenance staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Set and monitor product standards, examine samples of raw products or direct testing to ensure prescribed quality.
• Implement and enforce best practice safety measures to ensure the safest working conditions.
