Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a high‑volume shop environment. You will lead welders, fitters, fabricators, and technicians, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with engineering and quality teams to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy steel fabrication, pressure vessel manufacturing, or tank fabrication.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ASME Section VIII pressure vessel code requirements.
• Experience managing welding operations and fabrication processes.
• Hands-on experience leading daily management and employee-driven improvements with measurable gains in safety, quality, schedule attainment, or labor efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of welding and fabrication staff.
• Maintain shop-floor presence and conduct Gemba walks to ensure safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, National Board, and company standards.
• Own schedule attainment and resolve bottlenecks to meet deliveries.
• Lead Lean initiatives (5S, visual controls) to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Develop and audit standard work with Engineering and Quality.
