Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried manufacturing positions at our Long Prairie, MN facility. You will partner with plant leadership to identify hiring needs and implement short- and long-term staffing strategies.

The role emphasizes candidate experience, data-driven recruiting, and collaboration with HR to coordinate onboarding, benefits, and travel to events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting of hourly (non-exempt) manufacturing employees.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, Spanish and/or Haitian-Creole. Bi-lingual preferred.
• Prior experience in high volume recruiting in beef, protein, or food manufacturing.
• Current knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Previous experience using iCIMS applicant tracking system.
• Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and operational leadership to understand hiring needs and develop comprehensive recruiting strategies.
• Lead and support all activities in the recruitment life cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding.
• Drive recruiting process improvements to increase efficiency and candidate experience.
• Coordinate and/or attend off-site and onsite job fairs.
• Utilize social media and local networks to attract talent.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to align national search and marketing strategies; strengthen brand and candidate experience.
• Maintain hiring metrics and recruiting reports to measure success.
• Deliver exceptional candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding and orientation.
