Job summary

American Foods Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles at the Long Prairie, MN facility. You will partner with plant leadership to assess hiring needs, implement recruiting strategies, and ensure a strong candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

The role requires 5+ years in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in high-volume food manufacturing, and comfort with bilingual communication.

Qualifications

5+ years of full cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing roles.
Associate or Bachelor's in HR or related field (preferred).
Ability to communicate in English,Spanish and/or Haitian-Creole (BI-lingual preferred).
Experience in high-volume manufacturing recruiting (beef/protein/food) is a plus.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Strong work ethic and personal accountability.

Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
Lead sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
Improve recruiting processes for efficiency and candidate experience.
Coordinate job fairs and recruitment events.
Utilize social media and local outlets to attract candidates.
Collaborate with HR leadership to align national search and branding strategies.
Track KPIs and maintain recruiting reports.
