Siemens Mobility is seeking a Systems Engineer – Configuration Specialist to be based onsite in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will lead the Manufacturing Knowledge Base, drive configuration accuracy, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to implement lifecycle updates across digital platforms.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, SAP/CPQ integration, and continuous improvement in a discrete manufacturing environment with onsite work in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in power distribution products, BOM/routing, and discrete engineering principles.
• Experience with SAP, CPQ, and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall development and configuration-driven systems.
• Ability to travel as needed and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing knowledge bases, BOMs, routing, and configuration rules.
• Manage 3D CAD digital twin logic and align with engineering BOMs and configuration systems.
• Support product configuration for internal teams and customers, improving accuracy and usability.
• Analyze pricing and costing for engineered-to-order families to enable data-driven decisions.
• Lead releases with change control and system integration with SAP/CPQ platforms.
