Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Pooler, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to develop and govern manufacturing software systems for gas turbine component production.

The role covers MES, SCADA, SAP, Windchill integrations, data architecture, and analytics to enable a scalable digital manufacturing ecosystem. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing software, industrial automation, systems integration, MES/SCADA/ERP integration, databases, and reporting.
• Experience developing specifications, interface requirements, data standards, validation plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Proven ability to work across manufacturing, engineering, IT, quality, maintenance, vendors, and system integrators in production environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems architecture for a digitally connected production environment.
• Own integration between MES, SCADA, SAP, Windchill, machine controls, automation, quality, maintenance, databases, historians, and reporting platforms.
• Establish standards for data architecture, asset structures, naming conventions, traceability, cybersecurity, system validation, and ISA-95 compliant integration.
• Configure, deploy, support, and optimize MES, SCADA, manufacturing databases, analytics platforms, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Develop interfaces between manufacturing equipment, ERP, PLM, CMMS, QMS, and BI platforms.
• Support capital projects, equipment deployments, and factory commissioning with software, data, reporting, and integration requirements.
• Review supplier software architectures and plans for compliance with requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues across manufacturing, automation, data, and enterprise systems.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance data integrity, visibility, traceability, throughput, and performance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
