Job summary

Lynn Rodens is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planning Systems Administrator to own the ERP/MRP environment supporting production planning, inventory, and manufacturing execution in a 100% onsite role in Newberg, OR.

You will translate planning requirements into system configurations, maintain master data, and drive data integrity while partnering with Operations, Production, Engineering, Quality, Inventory, and Supply Chain to optimize manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of BOMs, routings, lead times, and master data.
• Strong data analysis using SQL and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the manufacturing ERP/MRP environment and be the internal expert.
• Translate requirements into system configurations and workflows.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, work centers, lead times, and inventory data.
• Improve master-data accuracy and system governance.
• Troubleshoot ERP configuration and data integrity issues.
• Support MRP, Kanban, CONWIP, replenishment, and production planning.
• Use SQL and Excel to analyze data and improve decisions.
• Prepare for future ERP replacement including data cleanup and migration.

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planning Systems Administrator to take ownership of the systems, data, and processes supporting production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing execution.

This is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing systems professional who understands how an effective ERP/MRP environment should operate and enjoys simplifying systems, improving data integrity, and partnering directly with Operations, Production, Engineering, Quality, Inventory, and Supply Chain.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the functional owner and internal expert for the manufacturing ERP/MRP environment.


• Translate manufacturing and planning requirements into effective system configurations and workflows.


• Maintain and improve BOMs, routings, work centers, item masters, lead times, planning parameters, inventory locations, and production-order data.


• Improve master-data accuracy, standardization, and system governance.


• Troubleshoot ERP configuration, transaction, and data-integrity issues.


• Support MRP, Kanban, CONWIP, inventory replenishment, WIP control, lot traceability, and production planning.


• Use SQL, Excel, reporting tools, and data analysis to investigate issues and improve decision-making.


• Establish user permissions, change controls, documentation, and ERP standard work.


• Help prepare for a future ERP replacement, including process mapping, data cleanup, migration, testing, and training.

What You Bring

• Strong manufacturing ERP/MRP experience.


• Understanding of manufacturing planning, inventory, BOMs, and routings.


• Experience with SQL, ERP reporting, and data analysis.


• ERP implementation, migration, or master-data experience strongly preferred.


• Microsoft Dynamics GP/Great Plains experience is a plus, but not required.


• Collaborative, hands-on approach with a strong focus on simplifying processes and improving data reliability.
