Job summary

Bel Fuse Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate Swiss machines, producing high quality parts on schedule per prints and process specs.

The role requires 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent education, and admission that the candidate is a US citizen or permanent resident. You will inspect parts with precision tools, adjust offsets, and work in a safe, organized environment with opportunities for bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Integrated Machining, or currently enrolled in program.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing environment, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate Swiss machines to cost effectively produce high quality parts per prints and specs.
• Determine program edits to adjust speeds and feeds for proper, efficient machining.
• Inspect finished parts using microscopes, micrometers, gage pins, indicators and other gauges.
• Adjust machine offsets to achieve required tolerances.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area; perform routine maintenance.
• Contribute to adherence to production schedules and quality procedures.

Job description

The CNC Machinist will set-up and operation of various types of Swiss Machines to cost effectively produce high-quality products on a timely basis that meet customer requirements.

Are You Looking To:

• Perform complex setups from programs on machines to ensure that completed parts conform to print and process specifications.
• Determine program edits required to adjust speeds and feeds in order to machine parts properly and efficiently.
• Accurately inspect finished parts using microscopes, tool maker's scope, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers or other equipment.
• Adjust machine off-sets to achieve required tolerances.
• Maintain adherence to production schedules and ensure quality inspections are completed in accordance with established procedures, resulting in a limited amount of Non-conforming Material Reports (NMR).
• Assigned work area, tools and gauges will be clean, and kept neat, safe and orderly at all times.
• Performs routine maintenance.

• Compensation range of $24.26 to $26.67 hourly. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
