Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist to support on-site at Rocket Center, WV. The role focuses on scheduling, production control, and the manufacturing of products, with emphasis on processes such as moving, forming, machining, and chemical treatments to meet customer demands.

The position requires strong knowledge of material management, production guidelines, and compliance with regulations. Travel up to 10% is required, and DoD clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of production, material control and financial procedures and systems.
• Experience with scheduling, production control and manufacture of products.
• Understanding of DoD contracting requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, oversee production, and manage manufacturing processes to add value.
• Ensure stock items are produced to meet customer demands.
• Oversee custom-engineered products per customer requests or contracts.
• Develop and implement production guidelines, performance metrics, and information management.
• Manage materials, equipment, facilities, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure timely scheduling and control of production to meet customer needs.
• Direct Make/Buy processes and supplier management.
• Monitor and mitigate material risks and obsolescence.
• Track performance against program budget and financial objectives.
• Communicate deficiencies and drive corrective actions.
• Represent Supply Chain Management to customers and program management.
• Lead IPT and coordinate with procurement and external suppliers.
• Promote safety and lean manufacturing practices across programs.
