Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to support on-site at the Rocket Center, WV location. The role focuses on scheduling, production control, and the manufacturing of stock and custom-engineered products in accordance with contracts.

Responsibilities include developing production guidelines, monitoring performance, managing materials and facilities, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Excellent opportunity for growth in a legacy defense contractor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in a relevant field (Level 2) or 7 years (Level 3).
• Experience with production scheduling, material control, and manufacturing processes preferred.
• Familiarity with government contracting requirements and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, oversee production, and manage manufacturing of products.
• Guarantee production of stock items to meet customer demands.
• Oversee custom-engineered products per customer requests or contracts.
• Develop and implement production guidelines, performance metrics, and information management.
• Lead material acquisition, subcontractor management, and Make/Buy decisions.
