Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist level 3/4 to support on-site at our Rocket Center, WV location. The candidate will manage all program subcontracts and material services, lead the IPT, and align supply chain activities with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

The role requires strong knowledge of materials management, procurement, and risk mitigation, with potential travel and a focus on Lean and Six Sigma. On-site work-No remote option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in supply chain or a closely related field; or a master's with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP systems.
• MS Office including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Convey to the Program Manager and IPT a full understanding of materials acquisition and subcontractor requirements.
• Lead the IPT to achieve material-related objectives (cost, schedule, quality) and manage risks.
• Ensure budget, materials availability and quality objectives are met by directing IPT, procurement and suppliers.
• Develop and communicate material acquisition and subcontractor management strategies.
• Manage the Make/Buy process and monitor material risks and obsolescence.
• Track performance against program financial objectives and communicate variances.
• Promote safety and apply Lean/Six Sigma tools in planning and execution.
