Job summary

Uacj Automotive Whitehall Industries Inc is seeking a supervisor to lead shop staff in a manufacturing/assembly setting. You will plan, assign tasks, coach employees and enforce safety and quality standards to meet daily production goals.

The role requires an associate degree or 2–3 years of supervisory experience, solid math/problem solving skills and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (Plex preferred). Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Quality Systems, or related technical area.
• 2–3 years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of mathematics, problem solving, lean manufacturing and MRP/ERP systems (Plex preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong written and verbal communication; excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to production employees, cell technicians and material handlers.
• Manage training, performance, scheduling of vacations, and attendance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and quality standards; resolve issues.
• Monitor performance metrics and daily production schedules; report progress to manager.
