Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate and direct the activities of manufacturing staff on the shop floor. You will plan and assign work, implement procedures, train employees, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a smooth operation.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years of supervision, and the ability to read drawings. Experience with Lean practices, safety, and inventory management is essential for daily leadership and problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in material handling or manufacturing plant environments (union experience a plus).
• 2+ years supervising employees.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve.
• MIG weld preferred.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct and lead production employees to meet production levels.
• Determine and assign work schedules and expedite workflow.
• Coordinate materials for jobs and maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure quality and policy conformance; inspect first piece and periodic checks.
• Supervise for quality, efficiency, teamwork and safety.
