Job summary

Baxter in Marion, North Carolina is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor II to lead daily production across two shifts (5th and 6th). You will guide manufacturing teams, ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement to meet production schedules and customer commitments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences and several years of leadership in manufacturing or regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience leading, supervising, or managing employees in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to engage frontline and senior leaders.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations on both day and night shift to achieve production schedules, quality targets, and customer commitments while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coach, develop, and support team members through performance management, training, career development, and ongoing feedback to build a high-performing workforce.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, product quality, operational efficiency, and resource utilization.
• Monitor manufacturing metrics and operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
• Review and approve manufacturing documentation, batch records, and operational reports to support timely product release and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve manufacturing issues, implement process improvements, and support new product or equipment introductions.
• Lead investigations, troubleshooting efforts, audits, and regulatory inspection activities while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
