Baxter is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor II in Marion, NC to lead two shifts, drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and develop a high-performing team. You will guide continuous improvement, manage performance, and partner with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet production goals.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years of leadership in a regulated manufacturing setting, strong communication, and experience with cGMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or related field with 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• 4+ years leading or managing employees in manufacturing/regulatory setting.
• Working knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and achieving operational goals.
• Experience with metrics analysis and root cause identification.
• Excellent communication with frontline staff and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations on both day and night shift to achieve production schedules, quality targets, and customer commitments while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coach, develop, and support team members through performance management, training, career development, and ongoing feedback to build a high-performing workforce.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, product quality, operational efficiency, and resource utilization.
• Monitor manufacturing metrics and operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
• Review and approve manufacturing documentation, batch records, and operational reports to support timely product release and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve manufacturing issues, implement process improvements, and support new product or equipment introductions.
• Lead investigations, troubleshooting efforts, audits, and regulatory inspection activities while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
