Baxter in Marion, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor II to lead daily manufacturing operations across day and night shifts, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met. You will guide and develop teams, drive improvements, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in a technical field and 4+ years of leadership in a regulated manufacturing setting, with strong communication skills and cGMP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Manufacturing or related field; 3+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading, supervising, or managing employees within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated production environment.
• Working knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize competing demands, and achieve operational goals in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics, identifying root causes, and implementing process improvements that drive measurable results.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage frontline staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations on both day and night shift to achieve production schedules, quality targets, and customer commitments while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coach, develop, and support team members through performance management, training, career development, and ongoing feedback to build a high‑performing workforce.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, product quality, operational efficiency, and resource utilization.
• Monitor manufacturing metrics and operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
• Review and approve manufacturing documentation, batch records, and operational reports to support timely product release and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve manufacturing issues, implement process improvements, and support new product or equipment introductions.
• Lead investigations, troubleshooting efforts, audits, and regulatory inspection activities while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
