Job summary

The Imagine Group, An Imagine Company is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead on 1st and 2nd shifts on-site. You will oversee a team of assembly/manufacturing employees with a strong emphasis on people leadership, safety, quality, productivity, accountability, and continuous improvement on the factory floor.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader comfortable developing employees, addressing performance issues, and ensuring production objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing or production teams.
• Experience coaching and holding employees accountable.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and 5S experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees while creating a safe, accountable, and productive work environment.
• Manage daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Monitor staffing and labor requirements and adjust resources based on production needs.
• Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are achieved.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Identify production issues and work cross-functionally to resolve problems.
• Support continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
• Utilize ERP systems, spreadsheets, and production reports to monitor performance and support daily decision-making.
• Maintain effective communication between shifts and other departments.
• Support a positive working relationship within a union manufacturing environment.
• Participate in occasional rotating Saturday coverage based on production needs.

Salary: $74,000–$88,000 annually

Position Overview

Our client, an established manufacturer serving highly engineered markets, is seeking experienced Manufacturing Supervisors to join its production leadership team. Opportunities are currently available on both 1st and 2nd shift.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a team of assembly/manufacturing employees, with a strong focus on people leadership, safety, quality, productivity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor, developing employees, addressing performance issues, and ensuring production objectives are achieved.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and holding production employees accountable.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production flow, safety, and quality.
• Comfortable working with ERP/production systems, reports, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude with the ability to learn highly engineered products and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in a union manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and/or 5S experience preferred.

Shift Options

1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:15 PM–11:45 PM

Candidates may indicate their preferred shift during the application process. Occasional rotating Saturday coverage may be required.

Compensation

$74,000–$88,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
