Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor based in Wayne, MI. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves supervising hourly production employees to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics, primarily for the 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Train, coach, and develop the hourly workforce.
2. Uphold and enforce company policies, values, procedures, and housekeeping practices.
3. Create and modify standard work procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or 4+ years relevant work experience.
2. 4+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably with metal stamping experience.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
4. Experience with AS400, Lean Manufacturing, and/or SAP is preferred.

Onboarding Milestones:

1. Complete Atkore immersion program.
2. Understand how your role supports Atkore's strategy.
3. Identify skillsets for your team members.
4. Gain understanding of training materials and procedures.

First 6 Months:

1. Update training materials and procedures as needed.
2. Collaborate with Safety and HR to address on-the-job issues.
3. Enhance team commitment to Atkore's core values.

First Year:

1. Manage an efficient team aligned with Atkore's strategy.
2. Create and update reports, training materials, and documentation.
3. Conduct performance conversations with direct reports.
4. Resolve issues promptly and safely.

Compensation: Estimated $70,080 - $96,360, depending on various factors including experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid time off, holidays, and other incentives.
