Job summary

SVI BREMCO seeks a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations in a manufacturing environment. You will manage AP, run weekly check runs, and assist with month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting and policy compliance.

The role includes payroll backup responsibilities, general ledger reconciliations, budgeting support, and collaboration with HR, procurement, and operations to optimize financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited program.
• 4–7 years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments preferred; AP/payroll experience required.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and approvals for AP.
• Manage weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and aging.
• Post journal entries and reconcile GL accounts.
• Assist month-end-close and prepare management reports.
• Support payroll processing as needed.
• Assist with audits and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters.
