Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an Industry Solutions Engineer for Manufacturing who will act as the technical authority on OT/ICS convergence, production resiliency, and supply chain visibility in an AI-powered security and observability platform context.

This role supports account teams to tailor demonstrations and reference architectures for manufacturing environments. The candidate will design POVs, map SAP integrations (S4HANA, SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP), and articulate technical value

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role
• Experience with OT/ICS environments (SCADA, PLCs, MES) and IT/OT convergence security
• Experience with security operations (SIEM/SOAR) and industrial monitoring platforms
• Experience integrating SAP ecosystems with back-office workflows
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., GICSP, CISSP) and familiarity with IEC 62443 and NIST 800-82
• Experience with asset discovery and IIoT technologies

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical expert on Manufacturing use cases (OT/ICS security, production uptime, supply chain visibility)
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations, POVs, and reference architectures mapping SAP and SAP data sources to manufacturing environments
• Drive AI adoption and internal tooling initiatives to automate and optimize order processing, invoicing, sourcing, fraud detection, product ordering, and warehousing
• Architect and demonstrate SAP integration (SAP S/4HANA, SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP) connecting plant-floor ops with back-office systems
• Voice the Manufacturing vertical into product management to influence roadmaps based on customer, safety, and regulatory trends (NIST 800-82, IEC 62443) with Agentic AI/Large Language Models/RAG
