Job summary

Cisco is seeking an Industry Solutions Engineer for Manufacturing, focused on OT/ICS security, production uptime, and supply chain visibility. You will map Splunk’s AI-powered platform to manufacturing environments and collaborate with account teams to translate industry requirements into technical solutions.

Your role includes designing demonstrations, POVs, and reference architectures, driving AI tooling initiatives, and influencing product roadmaps based on safety and regulatory trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role supporting manufacturing/industrial customers.
• Experience with OT/ICS environments (SCADA, PLCs, MES) and IT/OT convergence security challenges.
• Background in security operations, observability, or industrial monitoring with data pipelines.
• Experience integrating SAP ecosystems with back-office and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical expert on Manufacturing use cases, including OT/ICS security, uptime, supply chain visibility.
• Design and deliver demonstrations, POVs, and reference architectures mapping Splunk to manufacturing environments (SCADA, PLC, MES, IIoT).
• Drive AI adoption and tooling to automate order processing, invoicing, sourcing, and warehousing.
• Architect SAP integration (S/4HANA, Integration Suite, SAP BTP) to connect plant-floor ops with back-office systems.
• Voice Manufacturing needs to product teams, shaping roadmaps around regulatory trends (NIST 800-82, IEC 62443).
