Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking an Industry Solutions Engineer for Manufacturing, remote across the United States. You will serve as the technical authority on IT/OT convergence to address production resiliency, supply chain visibility, and industrial security.

The role involves mapping SAP ecosystems and SCADA/ICS data to Splunk solutions, delivering tailored demos, and driving AI-enabled improvements across order processing and warehousing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role supporting manufacturing or industrial customers.
• Experience with OT/ICS environments (SCADA, PLCs, MES) and IT/OT convergence security challenges.
• Experience with security operations, observability, or industrial monitoring platforms; data modeling & pipelines.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems, specifically SAP ecosystems with back-office/workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical expert on Manufacturing use cases (OT/ICS security, uptime, supply chain visibility).
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations, POVs, and reference architectures mapping Splunk to manufacturing environments (SCADA, PLC, MES, IIoT).
• Drive AI adoption and internal tooling to automate order processing, invoicing, sourcing, fraud detection, product ordering, warehousing.
• Architect and demonstrate SAP integration to connect plant floor with back-office systems.
• Voice of Manufacturing into product management; influence roadmap based on regulatory trends and AI/LLM/RAG insights.
