Job summary

Elanco Technology Center, Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Senior Technical Services / Manufacturing Sciences Associate to advance bioanalytical methods and support technology transfers across global QC labs.

The role emphasizes ELISA and qPCR assay development, lifecycle management, and close collaboration with TS/MS, QC, and manufacturing teams to drive robust process understanding and compliant laboratory work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field; or Master's degree in same fields.
Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience in bioanalytical techniques, cell culture, microbiology, or virology.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize ELISA- and qPCR-based assays for antigen quantification and support manufacturing site investigations to enhance process understanding.
Design and execute experiments, perform root cause investigations for assay deviations, and document all findings in electronic laboratory notebooks.
Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis and technical observation, collaborating with scientists to prepare technical reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across TS/MS, Quality Control, and global manufacturing sites to facilitate successful method validations and transfers.
Ensure all laboratory work complies with development quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
